The NordicTrack T7.0 Treadmill is designed so that user can fold and unfold it easily to save the storage space.
If you want to fold and unfold it too, I would show you how to achieve this.

As shown in the image below, it could take up some space.
It would be ideal to fold if you have limited space in your house or apartment.
Before folding, make sure the incline level is set to 0%.
Do not try to fold it when the incline level is not at 0% as the surface would be flat for the folding purpose.
Then lower your body to grab the bottom end of the treadmill and lift it upwards.
It might seems heavy but it is actually quite light, due to its hydraulic design bar.
Just lift the belt up until the bar lock the treadmill in its upward position.
You can see from the yellow sticker below, the number 1 is the instruction to fold the NordicTrack T7.0 Treadmill.
Lift the belt and kick the bar to lock it.
In real case, I do not even need to kick the bar to lock it, it would automatically lock in.
So this is how the NordicTrack T7.0 Treadmill looks like after folding.
Yes, it save much more space compared to before folding.
The dimension of the folded size is now ~168 cm (L) × 88 cm (W) × 85 cm (H).
Here are the before and after folding dimension for you to check if you need to fold it
Unfolded size: ~141 cm (L) × 88 cm (W) × 178 cm (H)
Folded size: ~168 cm (L) × 88 cm (W) × 85 cm (H)
Now I would talk about how to unfold it.
Compare to fold the NordicTrack Treadmill T7.0, the unfold process could be slightly more difficult than the folding.
Depend on luck, sometimes I managed to release the hydraulic locking bar in a single kick, sometimes need multiple kicks.
Yes, not consistent, unless you use the right technique.
As you can see from the image below, there is a yellow stick with “foot” label.
Kick this position with your feet as shown in the image below, lift the treadmill up a bit, then try to pull it down.
Actually I did record a video showing how I unfold the nordictrack treadmill before, just for different model of nordictrack treadmill C700, but the process is the same for NordicTrack Treadmill T7.0, here’s the video:
You could hold the treadmill so unfold it slowly, or just simply release it to let it move down automatically and slowly through its hydraulic bar.
Here’s the unfolded NordicTrack Treadmill T7.0 ready for your next exercise!
