Weightlifting conversion matters a lot in the gym world. Every international sports federation, including the International Weightlifting Federation accept the standard formula: 1 kilogram equals 2.20462262 pounds. Knowing this precise number helps to quickly switch between the two units.
In the gym it is usefull to have a kilo conversion chart for weightlifting, because it gives fast reference for changing weights from kilos to pounds.
